Testimonials

Listen to what our alumni and current candidates have to say about FRDP and eFRDP
"I came to Genentech with a non-pharmaceutical background after completing my MBA. The program’s broad exposure and tailored rotations have provided an unparalleled learning journey. What sets this program apart, however, is its nurturing environment defined by open-minded colleagues eager to share their knowledge along with the plentiful resources Genentech offers – initiatives like leadership programs, coaching and mentoring opportunities, and direct access to the Finance Leadership Team's expertise have been instrumental in my development."
Anthony Ortiz
FRDP Associate
"Aside from the technical, functional and organizational learnings, the ability to quickly get up to speed and establish relationships is to me the most valuable component of the program. Further, given that the program facilitates cross-functional, cross-divisional, and cross-border mobility, you become comfortable with uncertainty and learning about things that are outside your area of expertise. This has benefited me directly by allowing me to successfully step into my current role as Finance Manager in Saudi Arabia."

"I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the eFRDP. As I approached the end of senior year at UC Davis, I wanted to gain more work experience in finance but didn’t exactly know where to start. I wanted to learn the technical systems and processes used across finance, and eFRDP provided that. This program has also given me a platform to develop my professional network. Overall, I was able to contribute meaningfully to the finance community while gaining experience in the biotech industry."
